News Section Other organizations Access to documents, official statements and press releases related to the ICRC's cooperation with organizations such as the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the European Union, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, and the African Union (AU). The ICRC maintains relations and discusses humanitarian matters with a number of major regional organizations. Its concern is to ensure that its humanitarian activities and concerns are well understood by these bodies, which are often called on to intervene politically or carry out specific tasks in conflict-related crises.
