There are a number of fraudulent websites using the Red Cross and Red Crescent names and/or emblems to solicit donations for the victims of conflict or natural disaster, including those affected by the earthquake in Haiti in January 2010. Please only donate to the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement through official channels. There are also fraudulent e-mails in circulation that invite people to pay for false employment or training opportunities or for attendance at "conferences".
