The ICRC regional delegation in Lima

The Lima regional delegation covers Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru. It visits detainees, helps establish the fate of missing persons and monitors possible humanitarian consequences of past and present conflictual situations in the region, as well as other situations of violence. It helps security forces adapt procedures to international legal norms and supports the development of National Red Cross Societies. Read full overview.
