Summary:
Article 35 of the Disciplinary Regulations for the Armed Forces lists a number of obligations and prohibitions derived from the laws and customs of war. Article 36 contains rules on the treatment of prisoners of war that reflect provisions of the Third Geneva Convention of 1949.
