Your task
To drive one vehicle, organise and lead convoys. Being responsible for the cargo transported
- to verify the loading of the trucks
- to verify that necessary pre-trip and daily checks are done on the vehicles
- to verify that necessary equipment are loaded on the trucks
- to verify that necessary documents are complete for vehicles and cargo
- to ensure that security situation and instructions are well understood and respected
- to check with the workshop about the repairs and maintenance
- to make the necessary reporting to the drivers and staff
- to organize training and train drivers as necessary
Selection requirements
- ideal age: above 30
- prepared to accept unaccompanied postings for the duration of the assignment (minimum 3 months)
- excellent command of English; French an asset
- recognize training and a minimum five years proven experience on heavy trucks driving with trailer
- driving licence B / C / E, truck and trailer 40 mt as well as international driving licence, DGR licence an asset
